Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Oblak signs new five-year deal
Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak has signed a new five-year contract with the Primera Division club.
Oblak, 23, has committed to the end of the 2020-21 season after impressing in his first two seasons in Spain, having joined from Benfica in 2014.
Atletico Madrid announced on their official website: "Jan Oblak and our club have reached an agreement for the extension of the Slovenian goalkeeper's contract until 2021."
Under his previous deal, Oblak was tied to Atletico until 2020, with his new terms securing his services for a further season.
Atletico, who are due to move to a new home - Estadio La Peineta - in 2017, sit second in the table.
They trail Barcelona by three points, and are a point ahead of city rivals Real Madrid.
Oblak has conceded just 11 goals in 23 league games, the best record in the division.
