Atromitos draws 1-1 against Panathinaikos, tops Greek league
ATHENS, Greece (AP) Atromitos drew with Panathinaikos 1-1 and took over the lead in the Greek league on Saturday.
Abiola Dauda scored after only three minutes, assisted by Nicolas Diguiny. Panathinaikos equalized in the 30th through Guillermo Molins' penalty kick.
Despite being a man down from the 68th, when Kyriakos Kyvrakidis was shown a second yellow card for a dangerous tackle, Atromitos was not seriously threatened.
Atromitos was a point ahead of AEK Athens and PAOK, and two in front of defending champion Olympiakos.
PAOK and Olympiakos travel to Panionios and Kerkyra, respectively, on Sunday, and AEK hosts last-place Platanias on Monday.
Panathinaikos is sixth.
The other games on Saturday, Giannena vs. Xanthi and Apollon vs. Lamia, also ended 1-1.
