Balotelli's agent: Klopp treated Mario like a piece of s---t over Liverpool exit
Superagent Mino Raiola had some choice words for Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and how he treated Mario Balotelli as he was pushed out the door.
Surprise, surprise: Mino Raiola needs to feed his ego with headlines. He must have been bored this international break and need to see his name in the press.
Thus he went on a rant, laced with what he believed to be fire to burn Jurgen Klopp’s eyebrows off. The crooked, overpaid agent said that Klopp treated his client ‘like a piece of s–t’ while adding his opinion about Klopp’s coaching ability, after saying he wasn’t going to judge him as a coach.
“In the end, the higher-ups at Liverpool admitted that Klopp was wrong (to send Balotelli to train with the reserves),” the agent reportedly said, via Liverpool Echo. “I’m not trying to judge him as a coach – although, for me, he’s not a good coach – but he didn’t understand that Balotelli is, whatever else, a person.”
Raiola didn’t stop there, of course.
“Mario has been exemplary,” said Raiola. “He never complained about training alone. To say that it was wrong of Klopp would be an understatement. He was a piece of s*** about it.”
This is why fans generally distrust agents and don’t see the need for them. In reality, they’re not all like this. But Raiola ruins the perception, because he always feels the need to be pompous and pontificate and give his opinion when no one really asks for it.
More from Rush The Kop
There was nothing more Mino Raiola than when he said “I’m not trying to judge him as a coach, though I don’t think he’s a good coach.” Good stuff, mate. Super passive aggressive.
At any rate, Balotelli is finally off the books at Liverpool. Who cares about all this.
But I still hold a soft spot for Balo and I hope he does well at Nice.
