Barcelona winger Cristian Tello wore an 'I love beer' shirt to his Fiorentina medical
Cristian Tello spent half of last season on loan at Fiorentina, making 15 appearances for the Viola. The Barcelona-owned 25-year-old is back in Florence for another season on loan, and this time around, he didn't worry about trying to make a strong impression.
Tello showed up to his medical rocking an "I HEART BEER" T-shirt, and looking like he'd much rather be a couple craft brews deep than getting poked and prodded by the Fiorentina medical staff.
You gotta admire his bravery though. There aren't too many professional athletes who'd show up to their first (kinda) day at the new job professing their love for the suds. At least he didn't show up overweight.
Even worse, he could've shown up wearing a tee with the image of one of his new coach's (reputed) old flames. You know. Kinda like Wilfried Zaha did when he signed for Manchester United and wore a T-shirt emblazoned with the face of Imogen Thomas. The same Imogen Thomas who'd allegedly had an extramarital affair with then-Manchester United assistant manager Ryan Giggs.
Yeah things could've been much, much worse for Tello. Still a mystery why Zaha never worked out at United though.
