Blanc confirms Stambouli will join PSG from Tottenham
Benjamin Stambouli will finalize his transfer to Paris Saint-Germain from Tottenham today, according to Laurent Blanc.
The 24-year-old joined Spurs from Montpellier last summer for a fee believed to be £4.7 million ($7.3m) but made just 12 Premier League appearances in his maiden Premier League campaign.
PSG are reported to have agreed to pay £6m ($9.3m) to secure Stambouli's signature this summer, and Blanc has now revealed that the midfielder's move is done.
"Benjamin Stambouli will definitely join us tomorrow afternoon, Monday afternoon," Blanc told Le Parisienon Sunday.
"He has to pass a medical test and once this is the case he will be with us. He could play on Tuesday against Fiorentina but we need to do collective training with us before.
"He followed a normal preparation with his former club, even if he did nothing for two or three days."
Tottenham have overseen a large turnover of players this season, with Kieran Trippier, Kevin Wimmer and Toby Alderweireld joining the club, while Paulinho, Etienne Capoue and Younes Kaboul have left White Hart Lane.
