LONDON (AP) Massimo Cellino has been plunged into another public-relations embarrassment in his turbulent tenure as Leeds owner after one of his sons was charged by the English Football Association for posting an abusive comment on social media.

The FA said on Wednesday that a recent remark by Edoardo Cellino, who is a director at Leeds, toward a fan constituted an aggravated breach of rules because it included a ''reference to disability.'' He has until Monday to respond to the charge.

Edoardo Cellino was responding to online criticism from fans.

Since buying a majority stake in second-tier Leeds, Massimo Cellino has caused controversy by regularly firing managers and getting disqualified by the Football League for breaching its owners' and directors' test following a tax evasion conviction in Italy.
