Check out the gorgeous free kicks Sebastian Giovinco scored in a hat trick
Is Sebastian Giovinco back? It sure looks like it.
The Italian international came into Saturday without a goal in his last eight games for Toronto FC, all starts, which has been a very worrying drought for the 2015 MLS MVP and Golden Boot-winner. But on Saturday, he scored a stunning hat trick, including two gorgeous free kick goals:

Notice how on the second one, D.C. goalkeeper Travis Worra planted himself next to the near post, apparently trying to avoid a repeat of the first goal? Yeah, it didn't matter. Giovinco is that good.
Everyone thought he was done, but nope. In stoppage time with Toronto FC moments from victory, he notched one more for the 4-1 finish:

Toronto FC and their fans will be hoping this is the start of the Italian's resurgence. TFC are in playoff position with half of the season done, but they are playing well below expectations with the starpower on their roster.
It hasn't helped TFC either that Giovinco's drought came just as star striker Jozy Altidore injured his hamstring yet again, sidelining him the last two months. Altidore returned to action on Saturday and, although he entered the match after Giovonco's first two splendid goals, it's another good sign for TFC.
But as Cristiano Ronaldo once said, scoring goals is like shaking a bottle of ketchup: "Sometimes as much as you try, they don't come out, and when they come, many come all at same time." Only time will tell if the Atomic Ant can keep the rush of goals going.
