Christian Pulisic went to prom the night before scoring his first USMNT goal

When Christian Pulisic scored on May 28 in a friendly against Bolivia, he was on cloud nine. The 17-year-old had just become the youngest goal-scorer in the history of the United States national team and it seemed like his life couldn't get any better.

Little did we know, but Pulisic's life was going even better than it appeared. That's because he had spent the previous night at his high school prom before taking a private plane from Hershey, Pennsylvania to Kansas City, Missouri for the match.

So not only did he get his first international goal, but he got to be a regular teenager and attend prom, too. Not bad. And shoutout to his high school for letting him go to prom, seeing as he's lived in Germany for the last year while playing for Borussia Dortmund.
