Cristiano Ronaldo nets absolute beauty in Champions League win over AS Roma

Cristiano Ronaldo heard you talking all that noise about his inability to score away from his home turf. So during Wednesday's UEFA Champions League match at AS Roma, he scored this jaw-dropping beauty in the 57th minute:

It was textbook Ronaldo, if there is such a thing. Marcelo slipped him down the sideline with a probing through ball, and once Ronaldo got onto it he changed lanes on Alessandro Florenzi with that hopscotch move that's destroyed countless other wing backs. He then capped it off by belting the ball into the top right corner.

Florenzi tried to recover and even got a piece of it, bless his heart, but it was too little, too late. He took his season tally to 12, second-best only to the 17 he racked up during the 2012-2013 Champions League season.

Jese subbed on late and sealed the game by five-holing Lucas Digne in the 86th minute to give Madrid a two-goal cushion headed into the second leg:
