Cristiano Ronaldo's mother had $61K confiscated at Madrid airport

It seems that these days, Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo cannot catch a break despite Ronaldo's plea that the press leave him alone.

According to reports from the Spanish daily El Mundo, Dolores Aviero, Ronaldo's mother, was held by the civil guard at Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport with $61,000 in her purse. The limit a person is allowed to carry is $11,000.

Is she part of Floyd Mayweather's Money Team now? Ridiculous.

El Mundo states that Dolores was unable, or probably refused, to clarify why she was carrying so much money to Spanish officials. The money will be held until a fine of $600 is paid.

$61K may seem like an absurd amount of cash to be carrying on one's person, but let's not forget that Dolores' son makes a whopping $400,000 a week! A WEEK!

A piece of advice for Ronaldo; If you're giving your mother money, write her a check.
