Fan makes crazy leap to meet Lionel Messi, get tackled by security
One Barcelona fan wanted nothing more than to meet Lionel Messi. He wanted to meet the superstar so badly that he was willing to make a huge leap from the stands, down to a tunnel just to get next to Messi.
Only the leap was for nothing because he got tackled by security as soon as he hit the ground.
That's a perfect form tackle from the security guard. Whether he played football or rugby, he was very clearly well-coached and has the technique down pat. Considering the way he engaged, wrapped and drove, it's fair to assume he probably drove the fan into ground pretty hard too, because he did everything else perfectly.
So this begs the question, which hurt more: the leap or getting tackled?
That's a long ways down and you can bet that the fan's knees aren't feeling great about it. But that security guard got him good.
And all for him to not meet Messi. Harsh.
