France step up security as they make friendly return in Paris
There will be enhanced security measures in place as the France national team return to the Stade de France on Tuesday against Russia.
France play at the stadium for the first time since the Paris terror attacks in November, 2015, when three explosions occurred near the stadium during a friendly against Germany.
It was a night when 130 people were killed in a number of incidents across the city and more than 1,000 security guards will be deployed during Tuesday's fixture.
Snipers will also be in place around the ground and 400 police officers will be joined by French police special forces.
Last week's bombings in Brussels evoked memories of what happened in Paris last year. Security is a pertinent issue as a result of that and ahead of Euro 2016 finals in France this summer.
UEFA claim they have no plans to play any matches at the tournament behind closed doors in light of what happened in Brussels.
They have also reaffirmed their commitment to guaranteeing a 'safe and secure' event between June 10 and July 10.
A number of football figures, including Wales manager Chris Coleman, have given their backing to UEFA's stance and insisted football must not let terrorists win.
