Germany midfielder Leon Goretzka signs deal to join Bayern

MUNICH (AP) Germany midfielder Leon Goretzka has signed a pre-contract with Bayern Munich and will complete his move from Schalke in July.

The German clubs announced the transfer on Friday.

Schalke said Goretzka informed the club this week that he wanted to join Bayern.

Goretzka's contract at Bayern begins on July 1.
