Here is the worst, most shocking miss on an open goal all weekend
We did it. We found the very worst miss of the weekend and it's a doozy.
Things weren't already going great for Toluca on Sunday – they were down 3-1 against Puebla and chasing the game. But Gabriel Hauche had a great, late chance on an open net to cut into Puebla's lead and start a rally.

That … is something. While skying the ball over an open net is the textbook cringeworthy miss, Hauche takes an innovative approach here.
As the camera angle from inside the goal shows, he somehow missed the ball, and then it got caught under his own foot, where it gently redirected to the goalkeeper's hands. With that, the hopes of a rally died and Toluca lost, 3-1.
No matter how bad a miss you or your favorite team had this weekend, it's not this bad. And it's so bad that it's great.
