How Jurgen Klopp’s work at Liverpool can benefit England’s national team

I believe Jurgen Klopp’s role at Liverpool could have huge benefits for England’s national team. Recently, my countries side has under-performed, and it’s been painful to watch. We’ve flopped at major tournaments, been embarrassed by ‘weaker’ sides, and provide very little in terms of entertainment.

The exact opposite can be said about Liverpool. While its true that the team have somewhat under-performed, the football played has been promising and enjoyable. Jurgen Klopp’s impact has brought belief and excitement back to our team, and I believe that can rub off on England’s national team.

From Liverpool, Jordan Henderson, Daniel Sturridge, Adam Lallana and Nathaniel Clyne are all regulars in the England first team. Jurgen Klopp’s work with these players will add that energy and work-rate he demands at Liverpool to the national team’s arsenal.

Just look at how much Adam Lallana has improved under Klopp. He presses like an absolute machine, and he’s been brilliant for both club and country in recent times. He works well on and off the ball, creates chances, and keeps possession. He lacks an end product, but If Klopp can help him with that England could have an amazing player.

Daniel Sturridge isn’t exactly featuring much at Liverpool, and that could effect his chances of being involved in the England line-up. I do believe however, that Jurgen Klopp is going to keep Sturridge fitter and injury free, which will be massive if England need him.

Jurgen Klopp’s desire to win can be seen in these four players. If that is taken to the national team, surely these players can encourage a positive attitude.

They’re likely to perform better on the pitch due to Klopp’s help, and they’ll also help others with their improved endurance. Who knows, maybe England can stop showing themselves up soon?
