Colorado Rapids striker Kevin Doyle was away on international duty with Ireland this week, and, well, he's not going to be playing for the Rapids anytime soon.
Doyle was injured in the first half of Ireland's 1-0 win over Switzerland after banging shins on a 50-50 ball.
The striker was able to run away from the play, but the injury quickly forced him off the pitch.

After the contest, Doyle tweeted a photo of his gashed shin, and we're never going to be the same.
