Lionel Messi sends signed Argentina jerseys to President Obama's daughters
Lionel Messi has millions of fans worldwide, but none are arguably as emergent as the first daughters.
During a recent venture to Argentina, President Barack Obama revealed to a group of young entrepreneurs that his daughters, Sasha and Malia, were unable to make the trip. Having already met the Pope, Obama confessed it was not only His Holiness that they wanted to meet, but rather arguably the nation's other heralded icon: Messi.
President Obama, who then conceded he was not able to arrange the meeting, will be overjoyed that the Barcelona star, with the help of Argentine president Mauricio Macri, sent a pair of personalized signed jerseys to Obama's daughters.

Nice touch, Leo.
Now, with this summer's eagerly anticipated Copa America Centenario on the horizon, one would have to think a face-to-face meeting is inevitable.
Granted, the nation's capital isn't one of the 10 host cities, but with the Albiceleste slated to take on Panama in their second group game at Soldier Field on June 10, a visit to his old stomping grounds is in order. What say you, Mr. President?
