Liverpool charged by UEFA following incidents in Dortmund
Liverpool have been charged by UEFA following incidents involving their fans letting off fireworks during Thursday's Europa League match at Borussia Dortmund.
Hosts Dortmund have also been charged over blocked stairwells at Signal Iduna Park.
Liverpool fans let off flares after striker Divock Origi scored the opening goal in the 1-1 draw in the first half.
The Anfield club are already facing charges of illicit chanting and other crowd disturbances from their last-16 second leg draw with Manchester United at Old Trafford.
The match otherwise passed off without serious incident, with both sets of fans joining in a rendition of 'You'll Never Walk Alone' before kick-off
UEFA have also confirmed that Sparta Prague have been charged following crowd trouble during their 2-1 defeat to Villarreal.
The Czech team were hit with charges following offensive banners and the letting off fireworks in the last round against Lazio.
UEFA's Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body will deliberate on the charges on May 19.
