Liverpool, Manchester United clash in battle of storied EPL clubs
Liverpool and Manchester United are two of England's most storied clubs featuring two of the world's headlining managers, and they meet for the first time this season at Anfield (3 p.m. ET, NBCSN).
A year to the day that Jurgen Klopp took charge at Liverpool, the Reds are in fine form as winners of four straight, and they enter the day in fourth place in England's top flight, knowing a win could vault them into a tie for first with Manchester City and Arsenal.
Manchester United enjoyed a bright start to life under Jose Mourinho, but the Red Devils have struggled since, going 1-2-1 in their last four games. A win Monday would add to the logjam near the top of the table, though, and bring Manchester United right back into the title conversation.
