Liverpool stars snap surprise selfie on fan's misplaced cell phone
Liverpool's astonishing Europa League victory against Dortmund became just a little sweeter for a Reds fan who received an unexpected surprise.
Dejan Lovren's stoppage-time winner sent the Kop into an absolute frenzy at Anfield, and amid the commotion Liverpool supporter Liamie Marum lost his cell phone.
A fair sacrifice for a priceless memory, sure, but Marum managed to get the phone back. And what's more, it came with a bonus! In the midst of the pandemonium, Liverpool's Mamadou Sakho and Divock Origi found the phone and did what any rational duo would do these days ... they took a selfie:
"Well what can I say but unbelievable," Marum wrote on Facebook.
Unbelievable is one way to put it. He got to witness an unbelievable 4-3 comeback that propelled his team to Europa League semis, had a lost cell phone returned AND now has an even cooler story to tell everyone.
The only way it could have been better is if Jurgen Klopp ate the phone.
