Luca Zidane demonstrates exactly why he couldn't be an outfield player like his dad
Hours before Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid engaged in a spectacular back-and-forth battle with Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Tuesday, son Luca and the rest of Real’s kids also played Dortmund in the UEFA Youth League.
Unlike the pros, Real’s under-19s were able to beat Dortmund, 5-2, but unlike his dad, Luca Zidane proved that he possesses just about zero skills with the ball at his feet.
Yiiiikes. Pretty sure daddy is not going to like seeing that in the video analysis.
The 18-year-old, who has also represented France at every youth national team level, had all the time in the world to kick the ball away with Dortmund’s Jonas Arweiler giving chase. But then Luca dribbled, and dribbled, and then he dribbled some more until Arweiler eventually dispossessed him like he was taking candy from a baby.
Let’s stick to goalkeeping from now on, bud.
