Luis Suarez makes La Liga history with another 4-goal outing

Another day, another four-goal outing for Luis Suarez.

Just three days after smashing four past Deportivo (and three assists!) in an 8-0 mauling, Barcelona's talisman made a bit of history on Saturday and became the first player ever to score four in back-to-back La Liga games in the Catalans' 6-0 thumping of Sporting Gijon.

Luis Enrique's side never truly got out of third gear in the opening stages, but never needed to, in truth. After Lionel Messi opened the scoring for the hosts 12 minutes in, Suarez went into beast mode, sending Barca joint top of La Liga.

And with that, the Uruguayan made it 53 in all competitions and eight in two matches for his fourth league hat trick of the season.
