Manolo Gabbiadini's unreal instinct got Southampton back into the League Cup final

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's goal to open the scoring for Manchester United was a piece of beautiful skill, the result of years of work on the training ground to master the art of the free kick.

Manolo Gabbiadini's eventual equalizer was the opposite. It was pure, instinctive, and the type of finish that really can't be taught. It was the kind of opportunistic strike that neatly sums up Gabbiadini's strengths as a striker.

Since he arrived in England from Napoli, Gabbiadini's been on fire, and he hasn't shown any signs of slowing down.

The opportunistic strike was Gabbiadini's second on the day, and it should've been his hat trick following an incorrectly disallowed goal for offside in the first half. Southampton fell behind, 2-0, but Gabbiadini got them back level.
