Mario Balotelli has finally left Liverpool to join Nice
Just when you started to worry it’d never happen, Mario Balotelli has finally left Liverpool. While I’m relieved it’s all over, I’m actually slightly sad.
Many have discussed his awful attitude and shocking work-rates, and nobody really wanted to touch Balotelli this window.
Liverpool didn’t ask for a fee when trying to flog Balotelli, and still I believe only three clubs were willing to take him. In the end, he moved to Nice.
When Mario Balotelli switched on, he could score from virtually anywhere. He’d make defenders look foolish, and he could easily turn games over. His penalty taking is also exceptional.
The big negative is that Mario Balotelli almost never turns up. Liverpool looked like his last chance at sorting himself out, and quite frankly he failed here. Now he joins Nice, and I’m just hoping that he finally figure things out.
If he doesn’t, I have no idea where he’ll go to fade away into the nothingness. Surely he doesn’t have any more chances.
