Muntari hints at Inter exit
Inter Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari has added to the speculation he wants to leave the club by admitting he wants to be a first-team regular.
Muntari faces disciplinary action from the Nerazzurri after refusing to sit in the stands on Sunday for Inter's clash with Juventus.
The former Portsmough man was not selected in the matchday squad by Benitez against Juve and he opted to go home instead of watch the game.
Muntari has now admitted that he would be open to leaving the Serie A and European champions, stating that he needs to be playing every week.
He told skysports.com: "Going away? Why not? I am a football player, not someone to just pick his salary.
"I love football and want to play every day.
"I am an ambitious player and want to play everyday. My place is not in the stand, my place is on the field.
"When I don't play, I've let myself down, the fans and everyone."
Muntari made the switch to Inter from Pompey for 16million euros back in July 2008, having previously spent five years with Udinese.
