Newcastle United Win: DeAndre Yedlin Scores
Newcastle United are doing exceptionally well right now, and DeAndre Yedlin’s goal is an insight into the future of one of the club’s brightest youths.
Newcastle United win it again, moving up to second in the Championship, and are about to run away with an elegant winning streak. I haven’t been this excited since Newcastle was working their way up to fifth in the Premier League years ago.
The best news of the day, despite a Newcastle win? No injuries. Isn’t that amazing? It’s rare that the club has a clean bill of health moving into the next game.

I have also been impressed by Yoan Gouffran, who under Rafa Benitez has become a surprise star. But here is why the club won.
The Club is Unified
Contrary to what others have said, this is the most unified Newcastle United in years. The club is in sync, the passing is strong, and the opportunities are being taken. Last season, Newcastle passed up on a myriad of opportunities, contributing to their consistent losses. This season, because they’re taking opportunities, it’s contributing to consistent victories.
With Moussa Sissoko gone, there are likely limited problems in the dressing room, and I feel that everyone on the team wants to be here. That’s something we lacked last season. No one wanted to be here, and Aleksandar Mitrovic is the only major signing from last season that has remained loyal to the club in every aspect.

Matt Ritchie, Dwight Gayle, and Ayoze Perez are creating all sorts of problems for opposing defenses, and I’m very happy in the offense so far.
Conclusion
DeAndre Yedlin put the nail in the coffin after coming on as a substitute against Derby. I was expecting him to start, but I’m happy he still saw action. He definitely showed a level of skill missing from the club when he scored the second goal of the match.
I’m very excited for the future of the club, and Newcastle United did everything right. They took advantage of a club struggling greatly, and turned it into another win.
