No problem getting the best out of Bayern, says Guardiola
Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola insists he has had no problem getting the best out of his players, even though he is leaving the club at the end of the season.
Munich are seven points ahead of Borussia Dortmund with just four games remaining and can secure a fourth successive Bundesliga title on Saturday with victory away to Hertha Berlin coupled with defeat for closest challengers Borussia Dortmund against Stuttgart.
Guardiola's side are also preparing for a Champions League semi-final against Atletico Madrid and have a German Cup final clash with Dortmund on the horizon.
The Bayern head coach has been impressed by the attitude of his current crop of players, who he feels have not been distracted by forthcoming changes at the club.
"It doesn't matter what happened in the past, it doesn't matter what is going on in the future, these players are focused on the present," said the former Barcelona coach.
"These are amazing players who won the treble four years ago and over the last three years, every single weekend, every single game, they have tried to win.
"That is the secret. Naturally the backroom staff try and make sure the players are fit and ready to compete, but in the end it depends on the mentality of the players and the mentality of the players is always good."
Guardiola was less than enthusiastic in talking about the league he will be managing in from next season, but he believes both Leicester and Tottenham have a good chance of winning the Premier League title this season.
"I'm talking about the Premier League or something going on there in the future next season, not now," Guardiola said.
"I think Leicester and Tottenham can both win the title, so good luck for both of them."
