Pique expects people are 'going to make love a lot' after Barcelona's miracle comeback

From one miracle to the next.

When the final whistle blew and Barcelona's magical comeback became official, the emotion was palpable. There were tears (both joyous and despondent), hugs, kisses and surely a lot of partying soon to follow.

Gerard Pique thinks that all that partying could kick up a notch to something a bit, more ... amorous.

"They hire many nurses in hospitals for these times because today you’re going to make love a lot," the Barcelona defender said, via the Telegraph. Let's be honest. He's probably not wrong.

The odds that Barcelona faced to come back and advance to the quarterfinals were incredibly stacked against the Catalan team. But they did it. Everything had to go absolutely right and it did, because Barcelona never gave up faith. If that's not enough to get your juices flowing, what is?

And lest you think Pique is planning on sitting out the celebrations, think again. "Tonight I am going to party even though I have training tomorrow," he said. "It’s one thing to score a goal in the 95th minute, three in seven minutes. One can speak of miracle."

One can likely look forward to speaking of more than a few miracles in about nine month's time, too. The city of Barcelona is sure to be rocking in the days to come, and Pique is all for it.
