Police have seized an astonishing amount of cocaine in Lima, Peru valued at a reported $85 million. Interestingly, a large number of the bricks police confiscated have Lionel Messi's face branded on them.

The drugs were found on March 17, according to a release from police, hidden in a container of frozen fish. A whopping 1,288 packages of cocaine were found, weighing in at 1,417 kilograms. Some of the packages were branded with Messi's name and face, while others featured the shield of the King of Spain.

Per reports, no arrests have been in connection with the shipment, which was headed to Belgium. The logos, in this case of Messi and King of Spain's coat of arms" are used to denote both the quality of the product as well as to deter people from tampering with the packages.

The 29-year-old Barcelona star has a large number of endorsements under his belt, but this is surely one that he didn't sign off on. Crazily enough, this isn't even the largest bust of 2017. Back in January, police seized more than two tons of cocaine hidden among packages of asparagus.
