President Obama says his daughters want to meet Messi

Sasha and Malia Obama have just about everything they could ask for in life.

Except one thing: The thrill of coming face-to-face with Lionel Messi.

This according to their father, President of the United States Barack Obama. The president, while giving a speech during a meeting with young entrepreneurs at the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative Town Hall in Buenos Aires, Argentina, just had to divulge the one experience that millions of football fans near and far dream of, and has subsequently eluded his daughters.

"I also wanted to bring my daughters here, so they could see the beauty and the vibrancy of this city," he said. "They've already met one famous Argentinean -- His Holiness Pope Francis. Now they want to meet Messi, but I could not arrange that."

Well, Mr. President. You did compare yourself to the Barcelona ace once upon a time. You have a connection. It's only a matter of time now.

So, get on it!
