Rami passes medical and completes move to Sevilla from AC Milan
Adil Rami has passed a medical to complete his permanent transfer to Sevilla from AC Milan.
The 29-year-old French defender has put pen to a paper on a four-year deal with the Europa League winners.
A statement from Sevilla read: "Rami has passed a medical (on Tuesday) morning."
Sevilla were eager to strengthen their defensive line after selling Aleix Vidal to Barcelona last month.
Rami returns to the Primera Division just 18 months after leaving Valencia to join Milan.
He made just 18 Serie A appearances for the Rossoneri in the 2014-15 campaign and was keen to leave the Italian club this summer.
The move sees Rami reunited with Unai Emery, who was the player's coach at Valencia in 2011-12 before the Spanish tactician departed to Spartak Moscow.
Rami had been a reported target of Manchester United and Lyon, but has opted to return to Spain.
Sevilla finished fifth in La Liga in the 2014-15 term but will play in next season's Champions League courtesy of their successful Europa League title defence.
