Real Madrid defender Ramos ruled out of Bilbao match
Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has been ruled out of the club's La Liga meeting with Athletic Bilbao on Wednesday after missing training.
The 29-year-old was injured during the club's 4-0 victory over Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League on Tuesday, with tests at the Sanitas La Moraleja University Hospital confirming he had dislocated his shoulder.
Reports had suggested the defender was eager to return in time for the club's midweek clash with Bilbao, but Los Blancos boss Rafa Benitez has confirmed that Ramos will miss out as his recovery continues.
The Spain international had only recently returned to full training ahead to their opening Champions League fixture, having trained alone following an early withdrawal against Espanyol earlier in September.

Ramos was one of three Madrid players to pick up injuries against Shakhtar, with Gareth Bale and Raphael Varane also coming away from the Group A clash with knocks.
