Report: Juventus preparing fresh move for United ace Januzaj
Man United are likely to tell Juventus to 'look elsewhere' amid reports the Serie A champions are plotting a fresh move for Adnan Januzaj.
The 20-year-old's future has been the subject of plenty of speculation this summer with Sunderland and Everton both linked with moves for the Belgium international.
The 20-year-old was a surprise inclusion in the United side that on Friday night beat Aston Villa 1-0 to maintain their 100% start to the season, with Januzaj justifying his selection by netting the first-half winner.
And it seems the winger's performance did more than turn the heads of the Red Devils' fans with reports in Italy suggesting Juve are back in for the Belgian.
Tuttomercatoweb report that the Serie A champions have targeted the winger and hope to complete a deal before the transfer window closes in two weeks time.
The publication expects a bid will be launched in the coming days, however, the Italian club will do well to prise him away from Old Trafford given United's lack of attacking options.
United boss Louis van Gaal has limited attacking options at his disposal and will no doubt be keen to keep the player at Old Trafford following his match-winning contribution on Friday.
"It was a fantastic goal by Januzaj," Van Gaal said after the match. "He had a lot of ball losses and in my opinion unnecessary. So did a lot of other players and that's why we didn't create too many chances."
Asked if it was pleasing to know Januzaj was happy to fight for his future at the club, Van Gaal added: "I'm happy for him, yes, but it's also important he's showing that.
"He scored a wonderful goal but all the other aspects of football you have to also show it. I'm very pleased because this goal has won this game but there is more than making a goal."
However, the United boss has warned that he expects an improvement in Januzaj's game, saying after the match:
On his match-winning contribution, Januzaj added: "I haven't had a game for a long time so my fitness is not so good but I'm happy to score for the team and the winner.
"I hope to have more games in my legs and hopefully score more goals."
