Rooney excited to work with Mourinho at Manchester United

Wayne Rooney believes "exciting times" lie ahead at Manchester United following Jose Mourinho's appointment as manager.
Months of speculation finally came to an end last Friday, with the former Chelsea boss signing a three-year deal at Old Trafford following Louis van Gaal's wholly-expected sacking.
Mourinho's arrival has been welcomed by many connected to the club and captain Rooney has joined the chorus of those backing the appointment.

"It's exciting - one of the best managers in the world," the 30-year-old said.
"Obviously he knows the Premier League really well and for myself, and I am sure for the other Manchester United players, it's exciting times. I am looking forward to it."
