Saido Berahino blasts West Brom over deadline treatment
West Brom have rejected a fourth bid from Tottenham for Saido Berahino on Tuesday, prompting the striker to voice his anger at his treatment at the Hawthorns.
The Baggies have instantly dismissed two approaches from Tottenham on deadline day and remain determined to keep the England Under-21 striker at The Hawthorns.
The two offers, which arrived today, was only marginally better than Spurs' previous bids, which would have only risen to £21million with clauses and add-ons.
The Burundi-born frontman had a transfer request rejected by Albion chairman Jeremy Peace late last week and on Tuesday he tweeted: "Sad how i cant say exactly how the club has treated me but i can officially say i will never play Jeremy Peace (sic)."
Albion boss Tony Pulis admitted last week that Berahino's future was up in the air.
Pulis said: "I never say never about anything until it's closed and factual.
"I don't know, we have to wait and see. I wasn't in the discussions the chairman had with Saido. I'll have a chat with the lad when he comes in.
"It's not just about football it's about the person, about the lad and what he's going through."
