The Pilgrims accepted an offer of £125,000 for the 17-year-old, but after visiting Craven Cottage he has opted to stick with Peter Reid's side. Reid said: "Jack has turned down Fulham. He told me it was a superb set-up there and he had enjoyed having a look around, but he wanted to stay at Argyle and carry on his football education with us." Administrator Brend Guilfoyle admitted the club had been hopeful of selling their youngster as the club continue to struggle financially. Guilfoyle added: "You've got to remember he's a young kid, but we need funding, so I'm disappointed. I'm exploring all avenues open to me but, at the moment, they aren't coming off."
