Suarez urges Pedro to snub Premier League and stay at Barcelona
Luis Suarez has expressed his wish for Pedro to reject Premier League advances this summer, with Manchester United reportedly interested in the Barcelona man.
Spain international Pedro has been the subject of intense speculation this summer, with Barcelona lowering his buy-out clause from $165million to around $33.75m.
As a result, the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United have been linked with the 27-year-old winger, who is likely to struggle for regular playing minutes behind Barca's triumvirate of Suarez, Neymar and Lionel Messi.
Manchester United are thought to have made the forward one of their main transfer targets this summer, while Jose Mourinho seemingly ruled out a Chelsea move last week.
Suarez has expressed his desire for Pedro to reject any Premier League advances however, and wants the Spain international to extend his seven-year spell in Barca's first team.
"Pedro's thing is an individual decision," Suarez told Spanish publication Marca. "He's had many years at the club, he has won many titles and his decision will be respected.
"But as a team-mate, obviously, I want Pedro to stay because of the importance that he has on a group level."
