Benfica were trailing Bayern Munich by two goals on aggregate, and since they trailed on away goals, they needed to score three to advance in the UEFA Champions League. Basically, they were dead. But Talisca still had a bit of magic in him.
The 22-year-old stepped to a free kick and, well, did this.

This is Talisca's second year at Benfica and he might not be at the Portuguese club much longer. He's beginning to find his feet and display his terrific skill in Europe. Give the Brazilian another year for him to shine and exhibit the consistency needed to match his talent and bigger clubs with bigger bank accounts are going to come calling. He'll jump and Benfica will collect a big fat check. Everyone will win.
