This video of PSG's players discussing the Barcelona match pre game is sad and hilarious
Paris Saint-Germain allowed Barcelona to come back from 4-0 down, joining the Golden State Warriors, the Atlanta Falcons, and Cleveland Indians in the immortal hall of spectacular fails. Before this match ever even kicked off though, some of PSG's young stars sat down on camera to talk about the game, and looking at it in retrospect, it's the saddest, funniest piece of the whole thing.
Blaise Matuidi, Marco Verratti, Julian Draxler and Thomas Meunier sit down for some pizza and casual rumination on the match ahead, and it's unintentionally hilarious.

First, it's how young, fresh-faced and optimistic they look about the trials ahead of them. They actually look like they believe. They look like they can achieve.
Then, there's Matuidi breaking down the Barcelona weaknesses. And he's right. Those weaknesses were there to exploit, but PSG didn't even try to.

Julian Draxler flashes a cheeky smile, and tells Matuidi he's going to need to get on his bike in this game if they're going to have a chance.
But Matuidi isn't having it. Everybody has to run against Barcelona, or it just doesn't work.
"Nah. You got it bro." Famous last words from Draxler. It's hilariously sad. Just look at Matuidi's face. He's so sincere. "Please help. Barcelona is very good." It's etched all over his features as he forces a smile for the camera. "Please, Julian. We need you to run."
[Narrator voice]
Julian would not run.
And we know the rest of the story. PSG would not win. Barcelona made history, and this video will be around forever as a haunting (and hilarious) reminder of what could've been.
