Turkey manager gave a ref his phone to show Harry Kane's goal was offside

It took Harry Kane all of two minutes to put England in front of Turkey in a friendly on Sunday. But there was one problem ... he was offside.

The referees didn't spot it, though, so the goal counted.

Unsurprisingly, this did not please Turkey manager Fatih Terim. He could have yelled at the fourth official, like most managers do. He could have kicked his feet and screamed at anyone who would listen. He could have done a lot of things that are bizarrely normal for a manager. But he didn't.

Terim simply checked the replay on his phone and got the confirmation that the goal shouldn't have counted. And then he handed his phone to the fourth official.

That is certainly effective. It's easy to ignore a manager who is just yelling, but how are you going to ignore video proof right in front of your face? Who cares if it's technically not allowed?

And sure, maybe he wasn't showing the ref a replay of the goal. Maybe it was something else, like that hot fire Snapchat he just sent from pitchside. But he's definitely showing the ref his phone, which is hilarious and very 2016.
