USWNT go on 12-minute scoring tear in 7-0 win vs Colombia
Crystal Dunn. Allie Long. Mallory Pugh. Carli Lloyd.
All four scored in just a 12-minute span of the United States' 7-0 win over Colombia on Wednesday. In other words, this one was not as close as their Round of 16 clash at the Women's World Cup last summer, which the Americans won, 2-0, en route to the trophy.
How's this for a first-half showing? Dunn notched her 12th goal in her last 18 matches; Long doubled the lead with another on her international debut; 17-year-old Pugh scored her second goal in a U.S. uniform and Lloyd bagged the 87th of her international career. Statistics.
The onslaught continued into the second half with Tobin Heath adding to the fun and Long bagging her second of the night.

Then Christen Press put the finishing touches on the rout with this emphatic finish.
Bad news, Colombia. You meet the U.S. again in four-days' time.
