ROME (AP) Even with help from the video assistant referee, Lazio lost for the second straight week in Serie A.

Diego Laxalt leaped above Lazio defender Patric to score with a bouncing header in injury time as Genoa won 2-1 at the Stadio Olimpico.

Ten minutes earlier, Laxalt thought he had already scored the go-ahead goal but the score was waived off after video replays showed the Genoa midfielder used his hand to control the ball before scoring.

The decision came eight days after Patrick Cutrone controversially scored in AC Milan's 2-1 win over Lazio after the VAR failed to spot the ball came off the teenager's arm and not his head.
