Watch: Carli Lloyd scores on a screamer in USA's rout of Switzerland
The U.S. women's national team routed Switzerland for a second straight friendly, relying on a big second half yet again in the 5-1 victory.
Despite falling behind early on a goal from Sandrine Mauron, the U.S. battled back with five unanswered goals, none better than Carli Lloyd's equalizer in the first half in Minneapolis.
The reigning FIFA World Player of the Year was given space some 30 yards out from goal and fired an unstoppable blast in the 25th minute to make it 1-1. Lloyd added a second goal six minutes after the second-half restart to give the U.S. a lead it wouldn't relinquish. With the two goals, Lloyd has 96 in her illustrious national team career and has 33 goals in 34 games since the round of 16 at the 2015 Women's World Cup.

Christen Press, Crystal Dunn and Kelia Ohai also scored in the second half for the U.S.
For Ohai, she scored less than a minute after making her U.S. debut, making her the second American to do that in as many games. Lynn Williams did the same for the USA against Switzerland, kicking off a four-goal half in the 4-0 victory.
