Watch Cristiano Ronaldo get nutmegged, then deny it ever happened
Ronaldo just returned to Real Madrid training this week after an injury layoff, but teammate Fabio Coentrao isn't taking it easy his fellow countryman. During a game of keep away on Friday, Coentrao pulled out a giant bottle of shame champagne and sprayed it all over poor Ronnie. Witness the savagery below:
Yep, that's the reigning FIFA Ballon d'Or winner getting nutmegged. OK, so it's really not that big of a deal -- nobody likes to get nutmugged, but it happens to the best of us. The curious thing here, though, is that Ronaldo seems convinced Coentrao didn't just meg him as he gestures that the ball went past his right foot.
It's clear as day, though, Ronaldo. Nobody likes a spoil sport, and it was a pretty filthy flick from Coentrao, to be fair. Ronaldo will have plenty of time to redeem himself soon, especially since he plans to play against Osasuna this Saturday. Let Coentrao have his moment in the sun!
Sometimes you just have to take the "L" (which is a rare occurrence for CR7, anyway) and move on.
