Watch Cristiano Ronaldo's passionate, grateful speech after Portugal won Euro 2016

For a guy that's won just about everything there is to win, Portugal winning Euro 2016 could be Cristiano Ronaldo's proudest accomplishment. On Friday, the Portuguese FA released video from the locker room immediately following Portugal's win against France in the final. A shirtless (of course!) Ronaldo delivered a stirring speech to his team following the 1-0 extra-time victory, and now we get a glimpse of what the Real Madrid talisman had to say.

Among the many highlights, Ronaldo calls the win the "happiest moment of my life," going as far as to swear on his son's life that it's true. The 31-year-old thanks everyone involved on the staff, from the coaches to the players to the security guards.

He especially pays gratitude to Portugal's manager, Fernando Santos, which is pretty funny considering Ronaldo was spotted shouting instructions to his teammates from the sideline as though he was the manager during the final. That's what we've come to expect from Ronaldo, though. Even when he's being helpful or thankful, it's somehow still about him.

Even in the post-match video it's about how thankful he is, as though everyone only wanted to win for him. He gets a pass, though, because it's still a great gesture. The best part of all, though, is the entire Portugal team mocking Ronaldo's "SIIIII!" moment during the Ballon d'Or.

Ronaldo's match ended early as he was forced off in the 25th minute with an injury he couldn't overcome, and it looked like curtains for Portugal against the hosts. Eder proved to be the hero, coming on as a substitute to give Portugal their first ever major trophy. We can see just how meaningful that trophy is to Ronaldo.
