Watch Juan Cuadrado's wondergoal to secure Juventus a win over Olympique Lyon
Juan Cuadrado isn't typically known as a goalscorer. He is known as a man who's dedicated himself to the dark arts of dribbling wizardry though, and against Lyon he put the two skill sets together in order to produce this bit of magic:
Juventus went down a man early in the second half with Mario Lemina's sending off, and on 69 minutes Massimiliano Allegri sent Cuadrado on for a largely ineffective Paulo Dybala to make something happen.
He made something happen.
On 76 minutes, Cuadrado collected the ball on the right wing, sold his defenders a couple stepovers, a little dip of the shoulder, and absolutely UNLEASHED a right-footed cracker into the upper corner of the near post. The defenders didn't expect it. The keeper didn't expect it. No one expected it.
Pure magic from the wiry Colombian. His late strike sealed the victory and three vital points for Juve in an ugly, ugly match.
