Watch Kevin De Bruyne's fantastic free kick to put City ahead of Barcelona
Manchester City vs. Barcelona Vol. 2 has been everything we hoped for and more. Leo Messi's opening goal was canceled out by Ilkay Gündogan, and things were all square going into halftime. Just a few ticks after the break, we then got this piece of free kick magic from Kevin De Bruyne.
WOOF.
Yeah, Marc-André ter Stegen probably should've done a bit better, but nine times out of 10, that free kick's going over the wall to the near post. He cheats just a little bit, and that tiny little step was just enough for De Bruyne to kerflummox the Barcelona 'keeper and whip it past him in to the far post.
Ter Stegen got a touch, but it just wasn't enough. The dip, the placement, and the power were just too much for him, and City went up 2-1. Game. On.
