Watch Las Palmas score the most amazing team goal of the year
Las Palmas lost to Villarreal 2-1 on Sunday, but it was a truly unfair result. Goals like this should count double.
The passing. The movement. The technique. The creativity. The pure audacity of it all.
You could be forgiven for forgetting (or just plain not knowing) Kevin-Prince Boateng still exists and is plying his trade at Las Palmas. But here he is, starting and finishing one of the most beautiful team plays we've seen all year.
There are so many things to ogle over in this goal. The beautiful one and two-touch passing and flawlessly executed switch in play. The perfectly weighted chip, capped off with an impeccable and wildly improbable back-heeled cross. Then, the flying side volley. Each one of the pieces of this goal could've been their own highlight, but Las Palmas were gracious enough to present them all in a neat package deal.
