Watch Luis Suarez complete his hat trick with sensational free-kick goal
Luis Suarez's hat trick and Lionel Messi's usual magnificence showed Barcelona are well prepared to defend their La Liga title. The Blaugranas steamrolled Real Betis to the tune of 6-2 on Saturday, with Suarez scoring a hat trick, Messi a brace and Arda Turan chipping in with the opening goal.
There was plenty to gawk at in Barcelona's masterclass, but the free kick that Suarez threaded to pick up his hat trick was simply beautiful.

Normally, Messi is the guy you'd expect to take a freebie for Barca no matter where it is in the attacking third, but he deferred to El Pistolero. That decision paid off, because it gave us that chunk of goal-scoring glory. Suarez stepped up and smoothly whipped it past Betis keeper Adan at the near post from about 25 yards out.
One match, one hat trick for Suarez. His first two efforts were laudable as well. The first was a brilliant, first-timed blast that worked all the way across the danger area.
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL!

Suarez banged home an impressive 40 goals to fend off Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo in the race to collect last season's Pichichi Trophy, awarded to the league's top goal-scorer.
With a hat trick already under his belt, and Ronaldo set to miss tomorrow's match with an injury, Suarez is off to a flying start to defend his claim on the Pichichi. So, too, are Barcelona in their quest to retain their La Liga title.
