Wrapping up a wild finish, Neymar was struck by a bottle on Saturday after Barcelona celebrated a late comeback victory at Valencia.
It began as Luis Suarez drew a foul in the box, setting up Lionel Messi‘s winning penalty in a dramatic final sequence. After he converted, unhappy Valencia fans threw trash on the field toward celebrating Barcelona players. Neymar was struck in the face by a bottle, ending an exciting game on a sour note.

There was more bad news for Barcelona as well, as midfielder Andres Iniesta was carted off with a leg injury mid-game.
The winning goal was Messi’s second of the day, his first coming in the 22nd minute to open the scoring. Suarez also scored to equalize 2–2 in the 62nd.
